Michael Jackson's live-in physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, does not have a license to prescribe or even administered prescription medication in the state of California, according to FOX News:

Federal authorities told FOXNews.com that Dr. Conrad Murray is not licensed to administer certain levels of controlled medications in the state, and that if he gave Demerol or Oxycontin to Jackson, as has been reported, it would have been illegal.
To possess the drugs in California, Murray would have had to bring them with him from Nevada or Texas, which is illegal, or administer drugs that other doctors had provided locally or that Jackson had ordered online from abroad, which is also illegal.
"Dr. Murray has DEA registration numbers in Nevada and Texas, but he does not have one in California," a federal law enforcement official told FOXNews.com. "You absolutely have to have a registration number to prescribe controlled substances, and there was nothing in California."

Michael Jackson’s memorial service will take place Tuesday, July 7th 2009 at 10:00 AM in the Staples Center, the 20-thousand seat coliseum in downtown Los Angeles where Jackson rehearsed his show the night before he died, according to a person who has been briefed by a representative of the family.

Service will be held between 10am and noon. To the funeral will also attend family and friends who will be seated on the front row. Details on the Michael Jackson burial are also clear now, his body will be buried at the Forest Lawn cemetery on Hollywood Hills.

The Sun has claimed to have obtained the results of the initial autopsy on Michael Jackson’s body, which have the star in terrible shape, his stomach filled only with pills when he died.
The claims haven’t been independently verified, but the newspaper reports that the star weighed just 112 pounds (he was 5′10″).
Jackson’s hips, thighs and shoulders were riddled with needle wounds. There is unexplained bruising on Jackson’s knees and on the front of his shins and his body was covered by a plethora of surgery scars were thought to be the result of at least 13 plastic surgery operations.
At the time of his death, he was bald and wore a wig. He had suffered several broken ribs, probably from the failed attempts to revive him. There were four “injection sites” near his heart, where rescue workers reportedly shot adrenaline into his heart to restart it.
There is still, however, no official cause of death.

Michael Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe, who is the biological mother of Prince Michael and Paris, can take custody of the children if she so chooses, according to her attorney. People reports:

Prince Michael, Paris and Jackson's third child, Blanket, 7, whose mother has not been identified, have been in the care of Jackson's mother Katherine since the entertainer died Thursday after a cardiac arrest. "The kids are very upset, but they are fine," Jackson's manager, Frank DiLeo, tells PEOPLE.
During the custody fight between Rowe and Jackson in 2005, Rowe sought to give up her parental rights, and lauded Michael as a good father. Retired Judge Stephen Lachs, who presided over the hearing, at first agreed to terminate them, but then Lachs changed his mind and returned the rights to her.
"She lost them, and then she got them back," Finsilver says. Finsilver said she spoke to Rowe on Thursday but she cannot say what Rowe plans to do. "She was inconsolable."

"Our beloved son, brother and father of three children has gone so unexpectedly, in such a tragic way and much too soon. It leaves us, his family, speechless and devastated to a point, where communication with the outside world seems almost impossible at times.
"We miss Michael endlessly, our pain cannot be described in words. But Michael would not want us to give up now. So we want to thank all of his faithful supporters and loyal fans worldwide, you—who Michael loved so much. Please do not despair, because Michael will continue to live on in each and every one of you.

King of Pop Michael Jackson’s death has shocked the world, particularly those who were very close to him. His ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of the late King of Rock ‘n’ Roll issued a statement today.

“I am so very sad and confused with every emotion possible. I am heartbroken for his children who I know were everything to him and for his family. This is such a massive loss on so many levels, words fail me," Presley said in a statement.

The daughter of fellow music legend Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie and Michael were married in May 1994 to a firestorm of publicity.

Priscilla Presley, Michael Jackson’s ex mother-in-law described his passing as “a tragic loss.” Close friend Elizabeth Taylor’s rep said that she was too devastated for any comment.

After almost two years wed, with speculation regarding the legitimacy and intimacy of their relationship, Presley filed for divorce in January 1996.

In tragic news, it’s being reported that Michael Jackson has passed away at the young age of 50-years-old.
As previously reported, Jackson suffered a cardiac arrest earlier in the day - with paramedics rushing the famed singer to the UCLA Medical Center.
According to TMZ, the paramedics were unable to revive the internationally adored music icon, as he was unable to regain his pulse.
The pop superstar’s family are said to be en route to the UCLA Medical Center, where Jackson was taken followed by ten members of his entourage.
