Mel Gibson shared some baby news on Jay Leno's final week as "Tonight" show host.
Gibson's publicist Alan Nierob said the actor confirmed during the show's taping Monday that his girlfriend, 39-year-old Oksana Grigorieva, is pregnant. A phone message left with an NBC spokeswoman was not immediately returned.

The news comes just six weeks after his wife, Robyn, ended their 28-year marriage citing "irreconcilable differences" -- although a source tells the magazine, "This has nothing to do with the divorce.

"When it's all said and done, I did a pretty good hatchet job on my marriage myself. I'm to blame. If you're inclined to judge, put it here."
Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva, who is signed to his recording label Icon, began dating less than a year ago. They made their first public appearance as a couple at "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" premiere at the Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood, California on April 28.

According to the story, the singer is about three months pregnant. They claim that Gibson told his kids and his eldest sons are already trying to protect their trust funds.
The couple went public on April 29 at the “Wolverine” premiere just days after the divorce filing.
Grigorieva, 39, has a 9-year-old son with former James Bond actor Timothy Dalton.
