Law enforcement sources confirm to TMZ Chris Brown received a text message from a woman while he was driving with Rihanna and that's what started the confrontation that left Rihanna battered and bruised.
We're told the text message was from a woman who wrote about hooking up with Brown later.

Okay, I highly doubt this was the cause of the argument. These two are famous as hell, so I guarantee they get insane amounts of texts asking to hook up. In fact, I'm texting Rihanna right now. Probably not the best time, but a wise man once told me women love persistence. - - Then again, that man was Chris Brown. Whoops.
